It's pretty clear- The secret to getting ahead is getting started.
Despite the rush and the colossal amounts of onslaught vehemence we’re faced with, all day every day, we're vulnerable to a pretty insignificant sounding thought, and yet one that has the capability to induce reason to our entire existence- “Where and How to start?”
The answer is simply - to start somewhere.
Anywhere. Just start. There’s something about the momentum of starting that seems to lay out all paths ahead in a magical sort of way. But first you've got to make the kick start. It really doesn't matter when, where or how. Don’t wait for the time to be right, or for circumstances to be perfect to get started, for these are nothing more than petty techniques to avoid what you inevitably have to do – make a BEGINNING.
How can we imagine our life today if we cannot instill faith in the power of starting? I mean, had Miles Davis not believed in himself and not attempted to revolutionize the face of Jazz music with his new style, would he have ever risen to such fame? And would we have this form of intoxicating cool jazz to mellow our senses today? Nope, not without his spirit to move ahead of his fellow rivals, or without his belief in himself - belief that he could do wonders, just by making the first move.
There’s a reason why god (or any force you so choose to believe in) has created this universe- and this reason is one of the several things only YOU can discover for yourself. This dire independency is not because s/he does not have the time to grace you with an epiphany, nor is it because you’re inconsequential in the world’s eyes- but rather, because you’re meant to ponder and initiate your own share of reasons and thoughts. And that happens only when you initiate your nerve and sinew, saying to yourself, "LET'S DO THIS!"
Our life is a game and “tomorrow” is a walkthrough for what’s to come, and all we’re meant to do is make the season begin. And the rest, leave it to the world to conspire for, and get it right at your feet.
